Discussion Meeting with the Patent Office Appeals Division
A total of 12 people, including Mr. Katsura, Director of the Appeals Division of the Japan Patent Office, four members of the Appeals Division, including Mr. Morooka, Director of the Appeals Division, Mr. Asamura, Director of Asamura Patent Office, ten patent attorneys, and two attorneys at law from Asamura Law Offices, held an online meeting today to exchange opinions on the latest information on online procedures, appeals, and judgements, including assessment and party-related appeals, as well as opinions and requests from the user’s standpoint. We hope that we can continue to make a small contribution to improving the operation of the trial and judgment systems.
