Based on the five strategic visions to be realized through telework (work style reform, business innovation, crisis management, human resource utilization, and regional development) Telework Tokyo Rules practical company declaration system allows each company to formulate and declare its own rules according to its actual situation.<\/span><\/p>\r\n

* What are “Telework Tokyo Rules”?
\r\nIn September 2020, the Tokyo Metropolitan Government (TMG) made a joint declaration at the New Tokyo Conference attended by the public, labor and management sectors to promote \u201cTelework Tokyo Rules”.
\r\nInstead of making telework a temporary emergency method to prevent Covid-19, a new strategic vision was developed to promote telework as part of the new work style reform, business innovation, effective utilization of human resources, and crisis management.

\r\n*The “Telework Tokyo Rules” Declaration System is a system for companies to formulate and declare their own rules, such as teleworking during childcare and nursing care periods, according to their actual circumstances, based on the Telework Strategic Vision.

\r\n*Telework can be divided into three categories: telecommuting, mobile work, and satellite office work, which is a flexible working style that is not restricted by location and revolves around utilizing ICT such as the Internet. Telecommuting is a flexible and location-independent way of working that uses the Internet and other ICT and allows people to work without being tied to their work location. \u00a0It is an effective way of working that reduces travel time, including commuting, and improves efficiency.<\/span><\/p>\r\n
