For international applications filed with the Japan Patent Office (JPO), the international filing and handling fees will be revised as follows effective January 1, 2025.
\r\n<\/span><\/span><\/p>\r\n

Please note that fees have been increasing in accordance with the revisions but will be reduced beginning January 2025.

*\u00b2 Fees for requesting international preliminary examination: Preliminary examination fee (34,000 yen) + handling fee (D) + additional fee for preliminary examination (preliminary examination fee (28,000 yen) x (number of inventions – 1))<\/span><\/p>\r\n
