Mr. Nakayama graduated from Aoyama Gakuin University with a B.A. in International Politics and Economics, then joined an automotive parts company where he worked as an intellectual property professional for about 9 years, dealing with rights and management relating to patents, designs and trademarks.  He later worked for a few patent offices, before eventually joining Asamura Patent Office, p.c.
